Speed of Urban Life = Speed of Sound ... squared?

Do the Hustle! Why not "Do the Slow Down!"?
Why is Rick Ross hustlin' everyday? Why not "Some days I'd be hustlin', Others I'd be relaxing"?

When we picture "urban life" we see cars zooming by or piling up next to each other while strangers dodge through them on crowded streets trying not to run into other fellow strangers who are struggling with bags and papers to push open the glass doors to skyscrapers...

Is this all there is to "urban"? Is it the daily rush to and from places trying to catch the timekeeper at unawares and gain a few extra hours? Is it the constant push from the hands of an expectant society and the breath of the "Almighty Dollar" on the nape of the neck, forcing the average person to move at superhuman speeds to accomplish more than could be done in a day? Is it the race against other motorists to see who could win 1st place in the "Beat the PoS Traffic" race?
Or is it spending the weekends on 'The Avenue' to relax, hustling to get a good, "I won't get towed" park and then doing a run-walk to book your spot near the bar before too many people fill the place? Is it dancing too fast to 'groovy soca' but just in time to the 'power' while the strobe lights blink...quickly?
Could it be racing to the East West Corridor with the supposedly "best, prestige" schools, to pack too many subjects into a school day to rush home to study too many subjects in one night to go to university and do too many courses to finish too quickly to... fall right into the cycle of those just before us?

Can "urban" be anything else? Could it be... slow?
